Our socks are knitted on Italian high-needle count cylinder machines. The higher needle count means more stitches around the leg and thus finer yarns can be used. It makes socks finer and denser, but not thicker. You get a “fuller” feel without unnecessary volume/thickness. The finer and denser the socks are, the better they fit and more comfortable they are
